Overview of Facial Wart removal

Facial warts are ugly and many people affected by them are often self conscious about the skin condition and their presence is enough to affect their self confidence. These warts are typically caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) and they are most often benign growths that appear flat and smooth or long and narrow frond-like in the case of filform warts.

For many facial wart sufferers, invasive treatments through the use of laser or cyrotherapy are simply not preferred as they are most fearful of facial scarring. Most are more open to the use natural approaches to get rid of the skin nuisance.

Althought conventional methods of wart excision and liquid nitrogen method do work effectively in removing the warts, the chances of warts returning are always there. A facial wart has extensive root structure that feeds it. If the roots are not removed, facial warts can recur. This is the number one concern for many sufferers.

With facial warts, the sufferers have it worse because the face is the center of attention. These facial growths can appear red, yellow, pink, skin color or brown in color. They can be mistaken for pimples as they appear on the face. Some of these warts can form clusters too. Although they do not cause pain, the warts can be itchy.

The high spread rate of HPV trumps that of HIV virus in the US, with over 5 million people estimated to be infected every single year. There is an urgent need for more research in the area but up until now, there is not a single treatment that can promise complete cure for everyone who has warts
